Importance of Women's Education
Education is the backbone of every society and with the help of education, we can improve all aspects of life. Unfortunately, there are many countries around the world where boys are considered superior and girls are left for household chores.
Here are some of the benefits we can get by educating girls in our society:
1. Better Literacy Rate
The major benefit of educating women is economic growth since the entire economy thrives and grows when women are educated.

Women carry half burden of running any country and when they are educated, this economic process of growth gets a boost as more women are employed and involved in seeking opportunities to support the country. When women are provided with opportunities for equal education and rights, they participate in economic activities and business which in turn reduces the future poverty rate. This means investment in women's education can be useful for them and the entire community as well.
2. Better Health
Education has a healthy effect not only on themselves but its fruit can been seen in the upcoming generations as well as only a healthy mother guarantees a healthy child. It enhances a women’s and her family’s health as it enhances her awareness level towards a healthy lifestyle. Ultimately, this awareness helps reduce infant mortality rates.
It has also been observed that educated women make better health and nutrition decisions which is why their children are less likely to suffer from stunting and malnutrition making their children survive beyond five birthdays.
3. Less Rate of Child Marriages
Child marriage means one conducted before the age of 18. These kinds of marriages are mostly arranged where the consent of any of the spouses is not involved. Unfortunately in most countries and rural areas, this practice of non-consensual marriages is so common. This leads to early childbirth and health problems for both the mother and the child. By educating women, such kind of hazards can be reduced.
Besides, children who are born to literate women are healthy and more likely to survive as their mothers are fully aware of vaccination systems that prevent the spreading of major diseases. Major diseases spread more in uneducated families as they don’t know much about the disease spreading and precautions.
4. Women Empowerment
Educated women have more freedom to make decisions in their lives and it empowers them to break the norms and pursue their dreams. Women are not aware of their basic rights until they are educated as education enables them to know their rights. More emphasis is given to gender equality when women in society are seeking education.

Moreover, education makes female leadership more common in government organizations and when they lead, they seek more equal governance systems. This also changes the public opinion about women's roles in society and as they are leading the society, these leadership positions become role models for young girls. Around the world, women are more empowered to bounce back from a disaster like a climate change, weather change, floods, etc., and better adapt to face any other crises.
Conclusion
Women's education has been of much importance forever as there are some countries where women are stuck in the Stone Age overlooking the importance of educating young girls.
In many cultures, violation of basic rights can be stopped through women's education only. Secondly, when mothers are educated, their children are more brilliant making them the savior of the future. However, some steps should be taken for women’s education to give them the freedom to pursue a better life. We should also encourage the betterment of women to see a good future as the progress of all the regions across the world depends on the success of women.
